Using the TCW-50 Time Code Wedge
with USB-to-PS2 Adapters
A new firmware update is available for the TCW-50. This latest revision, TCW200, has been tested and verified to work with the following models of USB-to-PS2 adapters:

New TCW-50's ship with the latest firmware installed. The firmware version can be found on the label on the bottom of the unit. Updating older units to version TCW200 requires the replacement of an eprom and it is recommended this be performed only by a qualified, technically proficient individual with experience removing and installing programmable devices. The new eprom should integrate seamlessly into all standard TCW-50's regardless of age or current firmware version. The cost of the new eprom is $40. Contact Horita to inquire about volume pricing.
Units can also be returned to Horita to be updated for an additional cost of $35 each. Please contact Horita, either by phone or email, to obtain a return authorization (RA) number before sending your TCW-50 in for service.
