The BG-50 uses any RS-170A composite video input signal (required) to provide multiple outputs of blackburst and composite sync for genlocking larger video systems.

Precision digitally synthesized video signals are fully RS-170A SC/H phased and always correct. No SC/H adjustment ever required.
Built-in timer can automatically switch video output from color bars to black and audio tone to silence after 30 or 60 seconds. Easy and convenient for producing tape leaders and striping tapes with color bars and tone followed by black and silence.
Video signals generated by the CSG-50 are in accordance with the industry standard EIA RS-170A video timing specification.

NTSC Test Signal Generator 
The TSG-50 generates 13 precision digitally synthesized video test signals/patterns. Wide range of signals are ideal for setting up, aligning, and evaluating the performance of various video equipment found in a typical video editing system, such as video monitors, distribution amplifiers, VCRs, multi-media systems, switchers, effects generators, TBCs, etc. In addition to the video signals, the TSG-50 also generates composite sync and, with a video DA such as the HORITA VDA-50, becomes a high quality, multiple output, house sync generator.

The VDA-50 consists of two or three separate high performance video distribution amplifiers with user selectable jumpers on the PCB that allow it to be configured for various multiple or single video DA applications.
User configurable for a number of inputs and outputs. Ideal for small desktop video editing systems.
Desktop version VDA-50 configurable as dual 1x2, 1x3 DA, or as single 1x6. Includes looping video input with switchable 75-ohm terminator.

The SCT-50 is a character generator that operates either stand alone or with a computer to title, caption, or time-date stamp video from cameras, VCRs, computers, etc. Insert up to 9 lines of 20 characters each into a video image to add source ID, to show camera number and location for security, video data collection, or other video monitoring systems. Use the internal clock calendar to add a real time/ date stamp to video images.
Release V3.xx of the SCT-50 operating system features an expanded user interface that increases the SCT-50 setup screens from one to five, including a help screen. 36 time and 60 date display formats are available , as well as auto line numbering, a continuously variable vertical split screen for letterbox displays, two page memory, plus many more new features. Shipped with new SCT-50’s, it is also available as a $50 upgrade for most older units.
Use the supplied "GMAN Lite" text editor/ control software to automate stand alone operation, operate video information displays, add instructional information or subtitling, log and document experiments, etc. "GMAN Lite" controls from 1 to 99 individual SCT-50s using only a single RS-232 comm port on your PC. Oscilloscope Line Trigger Generator
The SAG-50 overlays one of eight safe action and safe title borders, with optional center cross, over incoming video so that the graphics and other information can be correctly positioned within the picture. The SAG-50 can also overlay video image with dot and crosshatch test patterns (with image center indicators) for lining up camera graphics or performing convergence and centering adjustments on single monitors or for setting up video walls.
An added feature not found in any other safe area generator, is the ability of the SAG-50 to output an oscilloscope "line trigger" signal and display an intensified line with a digital readout showing its actual line and field number on the video monitor.
Safe action and safe title overlays are fixed at the SMPTE RP-27.3 standards of 80% and 90% of the scanned image area.
Dot/crosshatch convergence patterns are 15 lines/dots across, by 13 lines/dots top to bottom. Both patterns have special "center screen" pattern for locating exact center of scanned image.
Intensified line and trigger can quickly be changed from line 10 through 262, and the field can be selected as field -1, field -2, or both. This provides a very accurate method of identifying the exact location of and/or placing graphics in the picture, measuring text height in line numbers, etc.
Trigger output signal transforms an ordinary oscilloscope into a precise piece of video test equipment capable of observing and identifying individual video lines of either or both fields for viewing VITS test signals, VITC time code, head switching points, etc.

"On-Screen" Audio VU Meter
The AM-50 is an on-screen audio level meter which provides a visual indication of audio signal amplitude. Dual channel "bridging" type audio inputs accept balanced or unbalanced (single ended) stereo audio inputs. Balanced input range is selectable from 0dBu, +4dBu, or +8dBu, single ended input range from -20dBV, -10dBV, or -5dBV.
Various formats are provided for displaying the audio levels, including those designed to take up a minimum amount of on-screen video space, those with a "see thru" mode, black mask on/off, audio level markers on/off, etc. Display format, size, and position selections are saved in non-volatile memory.
Channels can be individually identified as 0-9 A-F or as a group from 00-to-99 or 0-9 A-Z.
