Below is a list of recent product updates and firmware releases. In most cases, all that is required to update your unit is a new EPROM, available from HORITA for $50. Provides the option to set the GPT's internal real time clock to GPS (UTC) time. The hours value can be manually set to reflect "local" time while the minutes and seconds are updated every second from the GPS receiver.
Adds 1/10th (0.01) second resolution to the GPS and real time clock onscreen displays.
Displays NMEA $GPGGA altitude data in either meters or feet.
"Clear Screen" selection added to setup menu.

Adds a user selectable "Start/ Stop" mode of operation to the TCP time code generator (TCG). In this mode, the TCG outputs incrementing code at the selected frame rate as long as a valid time code input is detected. If the time code input is removed or stops incrementing, the TCG "freezes" at the last valid time code value read. The TCG is re-jammed and resumes time code generation when the time code input is restored.
